There's still time to participate in the Christmas/Thanksgiving offering to IDES. We'll receive contributions through Dec. 3st. 

This year we're setting a goal of $10,000 for our Thanksgiving and Christmas Offering combined. We're partnering with IDES for Hurricane Relief in Western North Carolina. You can participate in this years offering by marking your check or, if you're giving online, you can select the Thanksgiving Christmas Offering in the drop down menu. Our interim pastor will begin soon. We'll have more information coming soon. As part of our agreement with NxtStep Church Services, they'll be conducting a comprehensive Church Assessment that covers everything from our facilities, church governance, spiritual gifts, and written and in-person surveys. 

The in-person weekend will be January 25-26th. A written survey will be distributed in advance so they can be turned in by the weekend of January 25-26th. Everyone who calls C.C.C. their church home and is 15 or over will be invited and encouraged to fill out the written survey. 

Keep your eyes open for more information in the new year. 

Thursday Morning Bible Study will meet at 11:00 AM, resuming January 9th, in the Searchlighters room. This class is for Senior Adults, but all are invited and encouraged to attend. Janella Sullivan will be leading.

Catch up with the final message in our "Better" series. In “Better David,” Rodney highlights the ways Jesus fulfills the promise of a better king, contrasting His reign with the victories and failures of King David. From David’s defeat of Goliath to his human shortcomings, Rodney shows how these moments point to Jesus as the ultimate representative who battles sin and death on our behalf. This message invites listeners to look beyond the manger to see Jesus as the victorious King who calls us to follow Him.

It supports The Immeasurably More Initiative as we seek to be a part of the story God is telling through one individual or family at a time in a way that makes a local, long-term impact, and expresses God's lavish love. 

It provides Thanksgiving meals for 18 families this week.
